I'm on Minecraft!

Okay, I know this is a blog about my comics, but I felt compelled to show everyone these: http://imgur.com/a/uBWet#bXLu9. These are screenshots of a few creations I've created on a private SMP Server called Spoofy's World, and there's a subreddit about this Server which can be found here: http://www.reddit.com/r/SpoofysWorld/
     Enjoy!

Need A Superhero Name!

Send me any ideas you guys and gals have about a superhero name for a girl hero who will be appearing in the Incredible Pete 2! You can comment here on the blog or send any name ideas to @M_S_Comix on twitter.
Keeping with tradition, she does not have any powers, other than really good arm for playing baseball and such, and I'm tentatively naming her Gabriella. Try to make it creative and catchy!
Thank you and as always enjoy!

Incredible Pete Issue #2 Under Construction!

Alright, I'm currently working on Incredible Pete Issue #2, and I'm doing something I've never done before: Storyboarding!!! From what I can tell from my initial plans, Issue #2 will introduce a few more major characters and be about 4 pages longer (one full sheet of paper).
I wanted to post some pictures of my first rough outline, but I figure I can do that after I release Issue #2. Don't want to give away the ending! Enjoy!

Incredible Pete Print-out Walk-through!

Okay, to eliminate some confusion and help you guys and gals print out and make your own copies of Incredible Pete, I'm giving you a step by step walk-through!
First, print out the front and back cover:
This is made to be folded hamburger style and stapled in the middle, so the front cover is on the right and the back cover is on the left. What I did when printing also was make a small mark in the bottom left hand corner of the paper in your printing before printing. This will let you know what side your printer prints on and such. This will be very important to know later on.
So, now that you have the cover and back cover printed out, place this sheet back into the printer the way that you want using your bottom left hand corner as a guideline of orientation. You will then print out this image (pages 1 and 10):
You want to print this out so that page 10 (the one with "THE END" on it) is directly on the other side of the paper as the back cover, and that page 1 is on the other side of the front cover. You also want to make sure that when folded, the cover and page 1 are not upside down from each other, and should both be facing upright.
Now, on a new sheet of paper, print out this page (pages 2 and 9). If you want you can make another mark in the bottom left hand corner:
Keep in mind that this one of those weird pages again, so page 9 is actually on the left hand side, and page 2 is on the left. Place this sheet in your printer's paper tray the same way you did with the cover and print out the next set of pages (pages 3 and 7):
Page 3 should be on the back side of page 2, and page 7 on the back of page 8. You should have two full pages of images printed on both sides of the page. You can fold these in half hamburger style and place them together so that when you turn the pages like a book, they should appear in the correct order.
Next up is page 4 and 7, which should be printed on a new sheet of paper:
Hopefully, you've figured out by now how to correctly place the paper in the printer so that you can print out pages 5 and 6:
This is the centerfold of the comic. You should fold all three of your full pages in half hamburger style, and make sure to flip through to double check that the pages are in the correct order.
Now for stapling. I usually put two staples in the middle of the pages like an actual magazine or comic book, but I'm sure there are other ways to accomplish this effect. To do this, use either a large enough stapler that can reach the middle of a full sheet of computer paper from the edge, or simply bend the pages a little at the edge so that the stapler can reach the middle. Staple accordingly, so that the back of the staple is on the outside of the comic book, and on between pages 5 and 6 you should see the teeth of the staples sticking through.
     That's about it. Enjoy!

Bad News Sketches! Adult Content!

Okay, so like I said Bad News was done originlly in Sharpie marker so there are no pencil sketches. The pictures below are just scanned into the computer then darkened in Photoshop, but before I put all the grunge effects on them.
      Enjoy!

Original Incredible Pete Sketches

Just thought I would upload these for fun. As you can see, some changes I made in the Photoshop stage were drastic, some were minor. One thing you may notice is that there is no title page, that's because I decided early on to just make the title in Photoshop and not try sketching a cover out, because quite frankly I wasn't too confident of my drawing abilities for a large picture like that.
Also, I apologize for them not being in order, that's just the way the computer uploaded them. You can sort them out yourselves (I hope).

Feel free to add your own effects to these, and if you think I will like it, send them to me! If you do add effects of your own and get this comic book published for millions of dollars, please at least keep my name in the credits. Thanks and as always,
      Enjoy!

Incredible Pete Individual Pages!

Here you guys and gals! Each page of Incredible Pete in correct order if you wanted to make a really big version of Issue #1! If you don't want to make a comically large comic, then scroll down until you get to the posts that are the actual pages I use to print out copies (some assembly required).
     Enjoy!

Incredible Individual Pages sooo soon!

Working on separating Incredible Pete pages so that you can read each individually. This may also help you guys and gals when printing them out for yourself.
      Enjoy!

Soon to come...

In the next few days I hope to be posting my original versions of Incredible Pete and Bad News, so that you the reader can maybe edit them yourself and also see how the process of how I make the comics I do. Also, if I get a chance, I may begin posting up my Perhaps an Intent Comix, which are funny little one page comics I started making when I got bored in Calculus one day.
Expect more good stuff on the way!

"Bad News" WARNING! Adult Content!

So, this is Bad News a comic I made. Like I said, this is a very dark comic and it contains some adult content. If adult content isn't for you then just keep scrolling down until you hit the Incredible Pete posts!

The blood on page7 I changed to black and white for this blog because I thought the red paint brush effect was way too graphic for this blog. The last page still has red on it though because I thought that was okay.
If you want to print it out and make your own home copies, just simply print these sheets out in the order they appear, or if you want to get professional, print the next image out on the back on the page before it. Unlike Incredible Pete, this comic takes up a whole page at a time giving it a much bigger overall size.
      Enjoy!

The Complete Incredible Pete...print out for home use!

These are meant to be printed out Landscape Orientation and onto the back of the other pages, so that when they are in the correct order and folded in the middle hamburger style, you can staple them and they should function just like a really small comic book.
I'm hoping you can figure out the order of pages for right now, but if not as I said earlier I will post just the finished pages individually for people to read later on. Thanks!

The Incredible Pete!!!

This is, as I said, a much more G-rated comic I made during this school year. I drew the rough sketches on paper in pencil, then scanned them into the computer and added color and effects in Photoshop. This one required a lot more time to edit in Photoshop, and a lot more time to draw and come up with the storyline.
I will be posting first the images as I have them saved, with two pages of the comic book in one .jpeg file, so that you can print them out like I do and staple them in the middle, creating the completed comic book. In the next few days I hope to crop these images so that there is also a page by page version of the jpegs is someone wants to read the comic online, or print a very large comic of Incredible Pete.
     Enjoy!

One of my first serious comics: "Bad News"

This is one of my first serious comics I've made. I did this in the summer of 2010 with two different kinds of Sharpie markers, and literally no story line. I just started drawing and let my mind flow with the story. It is very dark and probably a bit more adult, but since then I have also drawn more child friendly comics, like the Incredible Pete, which I will upload soon.
The effects were done by scanning my hand drawn pictures into the computer and digitally editing them with grunge spray paint brushes in Photoshop. It is a total of 9 pages long, and I had a lot of fun making it.
Also, I know it says written by Prism, but that was just a cool pen name I thought of using at the time, and Sharpie is irreversible :/

Hello World!

Hi! My name is Mitch Sprowl and I recently created a few comics that I would like for you all to enjoy.
